You know how sometimes people get all worked up asking you about what you want for a certain occasion? Or how they keep telling you that they want to buy you something? And they asked for your go signal so they know that it is okay for them to spend for you? Yes, it’s cute and very touching indeed, but I would rather you just go ahead and buy it. You don’t have to ask for my permission to please me. Besides, it would be awkward for me to say, “Hey that sounds great, buy it already.” It’s kind of being thick-faced, don’t you think?
